Deborah Henderson holds degrees in Fine Arts and Education from Queen’s University. She lives in Port Hope where she runs a Suzuki-based violin program. She is also the director of the string program for SONG, an after-school music program for under-served children in Northumberland County. Deborah has played in a variety of ensembles, including pit orchestras for musical theatre productions, string quartets, chamber orchestras and community orchestras. She has many years of choral and voice training as well; however, her true love is chamber music, which has yielded a lasting and productive partnership with flutist, Fred Cory.
